Magicka Sorcerer PvE build

The Magicka Sorcerer class in The Elder Scrolls Online is an excellent choice for newer players, or those who wish to have a straightforward, pleasant experience in the game. The class utilizes shields, pets, and amazing self-heals; it’s as easy to deal a lot of damage as it is to stay alive for a long time. This post contains a couple setups: one for standard PvE group content, one for soloing, and a setup for beginners as well.

This loadout is for the traditional double pet setup.

Alternative / solo build

This loadout is more versatile, usable in various situations.

Solo no pet build

This loadout is for specifically for solo arenas (veteran Maelstrom and Vateshran), to be used with Ring of the Pale Order.

Note: You can also use the Elemental Susceptibility skill instead of the Elemental Drain ability if you don’t need the extra sustain.

This is for the dual wield front bar + inferno staff back bar playstyle.

Note: Instead of Law of Julianos, which is a crafted set that requires you to know 6 traits, you could use Mother’s Sorrow instead. It’s an overland set obtainable in the Deshaan zone.

– Mundus Stone: The Thief (increased Critical Strike Ratings)
– Race: High Elf / Dark Elf / Khajiit (or Breton if there are sustain issues)
– Attributes: 64 points in Magicka
– Curse: No curse
– Food: Ghastly Eye Bowl
– Potion: Essence of Spell Power (Lady’s Smock + Corn Flower + Namira’s Rot), or Essence of Spell Critical (Lady’s Smock + Water Hyacinth + Bugloss) if using Critical Surge on your back bar
